Museum of Ice Cream? More like Museum of Dessert Heaven on Earth #yum. This museum is a MUST VISIT stop in San Francisco, California! This museum really "floats"...The Museum of Ice Cream was in Los Angeles, then it moved to San Francisco, and now there are plans for it to move to New York. Visit their website to reserve a spot on the wait list in New York! As seemingly basic as this place may seem, the MOIC is full of happiness, optimism, and positive vibes around every corner!
Let's begin:
You start off the tour by sliding down a big pink slide into a world of color, fun, and delicious snacks!
You get to try soooo many desserts while also reading fun facts about the history of ice cream throughout the museum (let's be honest...more picture-taking takes place rather than reading)!! Popsicle sticks, chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cones with dipped chocolate and graham cracker sprinkles, frozen lemonade Dip n Dots, and a frozen ice cream pastry...need I say more??? #icecreamonicecream
There is even a room where you can make beaded bracelets and take with you as a memoir!
My favorite part of the tour is the pool of sprinkles! With a basketball goal, a mini diving board, and a slide...there is endless opportunities for fun (and photo shoots)! This pool is also very kid friendly - kids of all ages (even a 23 year old like myself AND parents) have a blast in the pool.
