The Garden Room

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

If you look up "where to eat in Atlanta" or "where to visit in Atlanta" I guarantee that The Garden Room will be on that list. The Garden Room is notably a popular location among travel bloggers for the unbelievable ambiance. The entire dining room and bar space is decked out in greenery & flowers. If you look up pictures of the drinks, you will see their two top ordered favorites (see below): The Bend & Snap (with a rose petal floating on top) & the Send Noods (with a floating rubber ducky). The menu is pretty limited, so if you are trying to eat a lot then I would recommend looking up the menu to see if they have what you would like! We had ordered the Parmesan fries, the Caesar Salad, & the Lobster Roll plate.

If you drive to The Garden Room, they have a valet service to park your car for you. Make sure to get your valet parking ticket validated by the hostess inside The Garden Room!!! It will only cost you $2.

Make sure to book your reservation far in advance! We had to book our table a month before going there.

Grindhouse Killer Burgers

Located: Multiple Locations

Looking for the best burgers in Atlanta?? Check out Grindhouse Killer Burgers! We had an AMAZING lunch on the patio at Grindhouse. The meat was very juicy and well seasoned! You MUST order a side of the Grindhouse sauce for your fries and burger.

I ordered the Grindhouse Style Burger, Fried Pickles, & Crinkle Cut French Fries. My friends ordered Sweet Potato Fries, the Hillbilly Style Burger, Crinkle Cut French Fries, Fried Pickles, & the Grindhouse Style Burger. Make sure to end your meal with one of their classic shakes!

Poor Calvin's

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

Poor Calvin's is my favorite place to eat at in Atlanta, Georgia. The bartenders are incredibly nice and make your meal 10x better because of how friendly they are. I would highly recommend starting off your meal with the Lobster Wonton appetizer. The Lobster Wontons is THE BEST appetizer I have ever tasted. I had ordered the Lobster Tail and Tiger Shrimp Curry and my friend had ordered the Seafood Pasta Special. If you love vegetables, I would definitely order the Lobster Tail and Tiger Shrimp Curry because it is PACKED to the brim. Try a new drink when you go here! The Long Island Tiki had me craving to order another one but I decided to mix it up and try my first ever Lychee Martini.

10/10 stars.

Make sure to reserve a table ahead of time!!!

Ponce City Market

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

Ponce City Market is a popular location in Atlanta that attracts not only tourists but also locals. You can shop, grab a drink, eat some dinner, or grab a dessert. You can even experience their nightlife on the rooftop! There are a lot of spots to eat at inside of Ponce City Market.

  • Tasty China Jia: we had ordered the chicken lo mein dish and the General Tso chicken plate served with white rice. Delicious dinner and great service!

  • Miso Ko offers a full/extensive sushi menu. The gyoza is a great appetizer for a table to share. Our order came out quickly too! There are plenty of options/restaurants to order a meal from inside of this food hall, but I highly recommend ordering some sushi during your visit at Ponce City Market!

  • El Super Pan Latino Sandwich & Bar: our group loved the margaritas, pina colada, and other spiked drinks. This spot has unbelievable Cuban sandwiches, salads, bowls, and stacked sandwiches. If you aren't sure what to eat in Ponce City Market, this is a guaranteed spot to eat a tasty meal!

Krog Street Market

Address: 99 Krog St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

Krog Street Market is a fun and vibrant food court offering diverse meals, drinks, snacks, and other goodies.

  • Ticonderoga Club is just one of the many independent food stalls located inside of Krog Street that you can enjoy a drink or meal at! We all ordered the margaritas and loved them. They definitely pack a punch! They also serve to go Mules, Arnold Palmers, and beer/wine.

  • Our entire group of 8 all ordered dinner at Jai Ho inside of Krog Market because of how delicious the meals looked and smelled. Many of us ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and loved the flavors. The garlic naan was massive (I wish I took a picture before I ate it all). Another popular dish was the chicken curry and butter naan. It's a little pricey but worth every penny for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend if you enjoy eating Indian food!

  • Gu's Dumplings, located inside of Krog Street market, is a highly rated and popular spot to enjoy top tier dumplings in Atlanta. This spot has won several awards for how tasty the dumplings are. You must order either the half order (6 dumplings for $10) or the full order (12 dumplings for $15) to start your meal at Gu's Dumplings. We went with the Half Order Pork Zhong Style Dumplings. I also ordered a "side" of the tasty and perfectly breaded Szechuan popcorn chicken for $10. To compete my meal, I ordered a side of white rice for $2.

  • Eat your meal at Krog Street or walk to the Historic Fourth Ward Park and enjoy a picnic!

Wagyu House - Atlanta

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

If you are looking for your next meal in Atlanta, you cannot miss Wagyu House! This restaurant has it all: a beautiful rooftop view of the city, all you can eat Korean BBQ, an ice cream station, a Miso soup station, and fresh juices (to name just a few top highlights). There are different tiers that you can choose from - all with certain cuts of meat that you can grill at your own table. We went with the Gold Tier and enjoyed several cuts of meat: wagyu beef, brisket, chicken, sushi, and lamb. Each tier also comes with the "all you can eat buffet" with dumplings, rice, miso soup, salad, noodles, and more. The service is phenomenal! Your server will assist you with grilling your choice of meat. Whether you are sitting inside or on the spacious patio, you get a bird's eye view of the city below. Make sure to also order a cocktail or drink from the bar (we went with the bottomless champagne option). Add this spot to your Atlanta bucket list!

Superica

Located: multiple locations in the greater ATL area

Delicious Tex-Mex found in Atlanta, Georgia at Superica! We went to the Superica in Avalon & had a wonderful lunch. This spot brings out 2 delicious complimentary salsas & salsa to start your meal off with. We also ordered the queso, which was fantastic! I was visiting a friend who is a local in the area & had eaten at this spot before. She recommended the fajitas or the enchiladas. I went with the lunch combo so that I could try both the Superica tamales & enchiladas. We also enjoyed house margaritas with Tajin on the rim. I would highly recommend checking out Superica in the Atlanta area if you are craving some Tex-Mex!

The Select

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

My best friend and sister-in-law jk both met in Atlanta, Georgia and they met up for the first time at The Select. My heart was full seeing that two of my favorite people in the whole world met up to spend time with each other.

The pictures they sent of the interior was stunning! The Select is a prime spot to take pictures because of the effort they put into making the environment stunning with a cool vibe.

What an idea of some of the dishes they serve? To list a few dishes off of the tasty menu: Roasted Spanish Octopus, Cold Water Oysters, a Rack of Lamb dish, a handful of fresh salads.

5 Church - Buckhead

Located: 3379 Peachtree Rd NE STE. 125, Atlanta, GA 30326

Our group had a fabulous brunch at 5 Church in the Buckhead area of ATL. The oysters were fresh and came with three different options/flavors to add on top. I really enjoyed the Steak & Eggs dish as well as the Benedict! The mimosas are $5 and you can switch out orange juice for other flavors like cranberry. Our table also enjoyed the espresso martinis and bloody Mary's.

The environment is full of art and stunning views! You won't be disappointed sitting at any table in the restaurant because there is so much to look at.

Lips - Atlanta

Located: Atlanta, GA

Dinner and a live show? Count me in!

$30 will get you access to a top notch Drag Queen Show and a tasty dinner! The dinner had included a caesar salad to start, a main course entree that you can pick from their list of delicious options), and the dinner ends with a plate of desserts (our plate had cannoli's and red velvet cupcakes). The entrees we picked are pictured below: The grilled chicken plate served with mashed potatoes and broccoli, the chicken penne dish, and the pesto ravioli dish.

If you are looking to try something new/different, I recommend added Lips - Atlanta to your list of "to-do's" and "where to eat". Make sure to reserve your table ahead of time!

Seans Heart of the Park - Piedmont Park

Located: Atlanta, Georgia

If you are visiting Atlanta, I highly recommend taking an afternoon to spend some time in Piedmont Park. Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, bring some games, have some fun! If you don't want to bring a picnic and would rather snag some food already ready to eat, stop at Seans Heart of the Park! Truth be told, I am a huge hot dog fan (LOL). This stand in the middle of the park serve hot dogs stacked with goodies!

We had ordered the "Guaca Elotes Dog" and the "I'm Nacho Dog". The Guaca Elotes Dog had guacamole, mexican street corn, tomatoes, and siracha on a toasted bun. The I'm Nacho dog was piled high with beef chili, cheese sauce, pickled jalapenos, and tomatoes on a toasted bun. Both were phenomial!

Chattahoochee Coffee Company

Located: multiple locations in Georgia. We went to the riverside location!

Does coffee and pastries by the Chattahoochee river sound nice? Chattahoochee Coffee Company is the perfect place to go for coffee and pastries! This coffee shop has plenty of seats inside with views of the river. They also have chairs next to the river so that you can sip on coffee and take in the views. This coffee shop is a "must-visit" in the area if you are looking for coffee with great views or a spot to work remote.

Located: Multiple Locations

Best shrimp and grits ever! You can find Egg Harbor Cafe's all throughout Atlanta. This spot is very popular in Georgia. If you are wanting to eat brunch, go early to avoid a wait!

A taste of Louisiana...ironically located in Georgia! The BEST shrimp I have ever had. This dime is located outside of Atlanta! Grab a bucket of seafood boil and enjoy a table full of delicious goodness.
