The large city of Atlanta, Georgia may come to mind when you think of Coca-Cola...but do you know where the birthplace of the Coca-Cola bottle is?? Welcome to Terre Haute, Indiana!

The Coca-Cola bottle was created in 1915 at the Root Glass Company he Root Glass Company's bottle design was selected in a national competition which led to it's long-lasting and well-known presence in the soft beverage industry.
In honor of being the birthplace of the Coca-Cola bottle design, you can visit nearly 40 6-foot tall painted bottle sculptures throughout Terre Haute. Each bottle has an intricate, beautiful design on it. If you are looking to visit quite a few in a quick amount of time, check out the downtown area of Terre Haute. There are a handful within walking and driving distance from each other. I was able to visit the below bottles:
Located: Corner Grind (683 Wabash Ave); Artist: Becky Hochhalter
Located: Terre Haute Children's Museum (727 Wabash Ave.); Artists: David Gill & Kari Rajkumar
Located: First Responders (28 S. Ninth St.): Artist: Michael Roberts
